exploring kotor's charming streets from a central base
i recently spent two nights in the king room with a sea view and was thrilled by how close i was to key attractions like the charming church of st eustahije, just about a 15-minute stroll away, and the stunning kotor old city, which is roughly a 30-minute walk from the b&b. the breathtaking views of kotor bay from my room made my stay unforgettable, giving me that perfect touch to my weekend explorations.

The views of Kotor Bay from the rooms are fine, creating a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The beautifully designed pool area stands out, offering a serene escape with lush gardens surrounding it.
There are some quirks to consider, if you book certain room types, the bathrooms are outside of the room, which could feel awkward depending on your comfort level. The hotel is about 5km from the main town, so getting to dining options can be a bit of a trek, especially since on-site dining is pretty limited. Breakfast is mainly continental, and any hot dishes come with an extra charge, which could be disappointing if that’s what you're craving. The air conditioning struggled a bit during the hotter days, so you might find yourself wishing for better temperature control, and parking could get dicey during peak times. Lastly, if you're not into nearby noise from other guests, it might disrupt your peace a little.

omg, we had the most amazin stay! the deluxe king suite had the most fab sea view that we just loved. breakfast was super tasty with homemade jams and stuff, really set us up for the day. the garden with herbs near the pool was my fav chill spot, so cozy. nigel and his team were super friendly and made us feel like family, loved it!
the only downside was that it was a bit far from dining options, so we had to travel a bit for food. also, sometimes the air conditioning didn’t work as well as it could.

The rooms were stylishly decorated and the personal touch from the hosts made us feel right at home. The property’s proximity to the water made it easy for us to dip into the cool bay waters whenever we wanted.
The limited onsite dining options required us to travel a bit for more variety.

The stunning views of the bay were a major highlight, creating a picturesque backdrop during our stay. The grilled meat served was exceptional and added a delightful flavor to the limited dining options available. the outside bathroom situation was less than ideal, making late-night trips inconvenient. Steep stairs to the poolhouse posed a challenge, especially after a long day exploring. The distance from main dining areas required consideration in planning meals.
